My City Connected (MCC) Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 2, 2026
Our principle: We don't want your data. We want your community to thrive.
This Privacy Policy is short because our data practices are simple, transparent, and minimal by design. MCC is built on privacy-by-architecture.
1. Data We Collect and Store
We Minimize. We follow a strict data minimization principle.
Information You Provide Directly:
- Your Verified Legal Name: Collected only during in-person verification at a Lighthouse Hub (e.g., public library). Used solely to prevent fraud and maintain trust on the platform. Stored in connection with your account.
- Your Public Keys: Cryptographic data used to verify your digital signature. This is not personal information.
- Content You Post: Messages, listings, reviews, and other content you choose to share.
- Transactional Data: Amount, time, and participating public keys required for operation of the 25/25/50 Wealth Recirculation Engine and buyer/seller records. Payment details are handled by a licensed third-party processor.

To operate the transparent MCC Credit System, we record voluntary actions that earn credits (such as posting, commenting, or verifying a transaction). Only the action type and timestamp are recorded, solely to calculate your MCC Credit balance.
